About

I’m a Detroit native who brings intense and heartfelt passion to both singing and acting. My greatest strength is my versatility, which allows me to thrive in a wide range of settings—from church choir lofts and major concert halls to local theater stages.

I received my education in the Detroit Public School System and graduated with honors from Morgan State University, where I studied under the guidance of Dr. Nathan M. Carter. It was here that I truly fell in love with music and seamlessly explored various genres. My time at Morgan also took me on extensive travels across the Czech Republic, France, Russia, Martinique, Bermuda, and numerous locations in the U.S.

My passion for the stage emerged shortly after graduation. I made my debut with ArtsCentric as Woman #2 in Stephen Sondheim’s Putting It Together and later took on the role of Effie White in Dreamgirls. Critics praised my portrayal, noting that I infused “I’m Not Going” with explosive vulnerability, transforming its melody into something profoundly moving. I have also portrayed a range of characters in other notable productions, including The Dragon in Lindsay-Abaire’s Shrek the Musical, Nell/Armelia in Waller’s Ain’t Misbehavin’, and Bloody Mary in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific. Additionally, I have taken on multiple roles in Sondheim’s Into the Woods, including Cinderella's Mother, Granny, and the Stepmother.

Currently, I live in Baltimore, MD with my wonderful daughters, and every performance is dedicated to them.
